Music that sonically illustrates the dystopian visions of the future or biomechanical themes explored in cyberpunk fiction. Often inspired by synthesizer-heavy science fiction film scores, cyberpunk music incorporates electronic dance and industrial styles and overlaps sympathetically with synthwave and vaporwave.
